Annual School of Nursing/UWHC Nursing Poster Fair
As the calendar year is coming to an end, it is time to start thinking about the Annual Nursing Poster Fair that will be held on April 26 - 27, 2016. The Nursing Research Council invites you to submit an abstract for the Annual Nursing Poster Fair for one of the following categories: Research, Evidence Based Practice (EBP), Quality (QI) or Educational/Informational. The abstract application deadline is January 31, 2016.

oThere is not an option to save abstract applications in process so applicants must be prepared to complete the entire form. However, you may click the link to view the form, close the page, and return to the link later when you are prepared to submit your abstract.
oOnline application must be submitted for your work to be considered for the Nursing Poster Fair.

Here are some other important details:
* To support abstract writing, the Nursing Research Council is sponsoring an Abstract Writing Workshop, available to all UW Health nurses, which will be held on December 8, 2015 from 1130-1500 in F6/167. At the end of the workshop, you may have abstract that is nearly "submission ready". Please see the attached flier to learn more!
* During the abstract review process, one abstract from each submission category will be selected to present at Nursing Grand Rounds on April 26, 2016. Please indicate your willingness to be considered for this podium presentation on the abstract application.
* The Nursing Poster Fair begins at 0800 on April 26, 2016 and will conclude with the Meet the Presenters session from 1-2 pm on Wednesday April 27, 2016. Details including hang-up and take-down instructions for the day of the fair will be sent with confirmation of accepted abstracts.
Historically, the Poster Fair was for nurses and nursing students in the UW system, and over the years, the fair has grown and expanded to include the work of nurses and students beyond UW Hospital and the UW-Madison School of nurses; increasing our number of posters displayed to around 100! The Nursing Research Council is pleased to have place where all your hard work can be shared with fellow nurses, co-workers and students. We encourage everyone to participate in displaying and disseminating the work you have done at our Annual Poster Fair.
