Under server you will type in laserfiche, Repository selection you will scroll down and select student-records, make sure you select the windows authentication option and click ok (you will only have to fill this out once because it will be saved as your default).

The next step is to fill out the “Laserfiche Snapshot” box.

Under document properties:

  • Fill in the Name field to the name of the student you are currently working on. That will be the only field you have to change every time.
  • Select the save to repository option.
  • Fill out the folder path by clicking the second button to the right, a browse folders tab will open and you will have to go in and select your work queue. Once you find your work queue double click it. The path will now show up in the folder field
  • Fill out the volume information by selecting <Health-SR > from the drop down menu.
  • Click OK.

  • The first time you click ok a message will come up that says: “Do you want to save the current settings as default profile?” You will select yes.
  • The reports will now be sent to your work queue to be worked on. As seen in the picture below.
  • Now you are ready to start separating the documents out and naming them.
  • In order to name everything correctly you will have to first separate out each individual document.
  • To do that: Go to the thumbnails pane and group everything by document name.
  • Select the pages that go together (ctrl key and click on the document), right click and select new document.

  • A box will come up that says “New Document”. This is where you will name your document so that it can be filed by workflow. To name your document:
  1. Make sure the fields tab is the one that is selected.
  2. Under template select Health-SR
  3. Under document type you will select the appropriate document type.
  4. Under document description you will select the appropriate document name.

  • The documents will “disappear” to be filed by workflow and you will be able to acces them from the student’s folder.
