Introduction:
  1. introduce the history, development and basic rules of basketball
  2. demonstrate/model the correct body position, and execution of the basic skills/techniques used in basketball
  3. provide individual and group guided practice for all skills in a modified game and real game setting.
  4. Assign home: students must review handouts, practice proper body position, skills, and techniques.
Students will be able to work cooperatively yet competitively during game play while demonstrating good sportsmanship / S.C. Standards/Objectives: 1-5
