2 “ROCKBAND” MATERIALS

This workbook provides pupils with the chance to work collaboratively in teams to form a business of their own in the form of a fictional band.

This scenario should allow pupils to actively apply the knowledge that they have gained from the “theory” section in the course in a manageable and enterprising manner which should engage the majority of pupils through the personalisation and choice available.

Pupils can finish this work by performing a “real” concert if there is an investment in the ROCKBAND (or similar) game for the Playstation, etc.

This work can be carried out in parallel to the “theory” lessons or a holistic activity carried out after the theory has been covered.
