Agenda:
- Dev workgroup report –Peter Li
- popHealth v4.2 August release date to coincide with the Cypress v3 release in July. The v4.2 will include:
- 2015 EH/EP measure updates
- C4 CQM filter functionality - patient and provider filter
- Automated system test based on Cypress tools
- Peter created a post and 2 Jira tickets for what is needed for the upgrade for Cyprus. Able to filter on 9 parameters. It should be around 600 hours. Luke Rasmussen from Northwestern will do 200 hours of UI upgrades. Peter will do testing of components. Alabama will do back-end logic for filtering. Peter is estimating about 300 hours for this. Early September timeframe. 4 months from now. Peter needs beta version by August 1 in order to get testing done.
- No other enhancements will be in 4.2 as of now – just the Cyprus upgrade.
- Luke is working on benchmarking capability but not sure if it will be ready for v4.2.
- OSEHRA Certification – Peter Li
- Update - Found an error. The test they ran 6 months ago no longer works. There must have been some changes since it was run so Peter has asked Jeremy to look at it. Does not impact MU 2014 certification. Need a fix for it. Still being held up due to bug. Christopher Johnson is working on it.
- Blog after completing OSEHRA certification
- Data Extraction Group – Gary Parker/Jason Phipps
- No meeting in April
- Version 4 CCDs that do not have an encounter in the CCD. Some vendors do not include encounter data. popHealth ignores a CCD that does not have an encounter segment. AL is creating the encounter file with data from within the CCD so they can load it.
- MIPPS is replacing Medicare MU reporting effective 2017
- Next meeting Thursday May 10 at 2:00 pm EST.
- EDI 275 claims attachment transaction. Has some clinical data attached to it. May also be a source for data. Might require a state policy change.
- Texas may create a bonus program for providers that send in the attachment with the claims.
- Alabama has offered grants to pay for CCD interfaces from the HER to AL Medicaid.
- Gary will reach out to a contact at ONC to find out if Mark M is still involved with popHealth. Jason may also try to reach out to him.
- Jason is conducting interviews with people who have interfaces so we can have a glossary of interfaces.
- popHealth User Group – Jackie Mulhall
- Luke Rasmussen presented last month. Well attended and very interesting.
- Always looking for speakers.
- SERCH group may have been sunsetted.
- OSEHRA Summit – Peter
- One track – Northwestern and George Mason presenting on popHealth but mostly VISTA related
- Roadmap
- Jackie reviewed and sent Peter feedback on what the questions should be on survey. Jasonthought it looked good. Peter will send it out to the old mailing list plus anyone new on the popHealth groups this week. Jason would like to use the survey results and then conduct some follow-up interviews.
- Texas has developed a list of items that are highly likely to be developed by them. Hopefully this year.
- Gary Parker and AL Medicaid are looking at the list and identified some that they are also working on so he will coordinate with Texas. AL has been working on CCD issue for 4.1. Does not matter if the encounter information is in the CCD – they can create it.
- Jason will volunteer to pull together a list of who is currently doing what. Anyone who knows anything anyone is currently working on for popHealth.
- Peter Li will get the list of enhancements that Northwestern is making. He will compile a list of enhancements various teams are working on and share with the group at our next meeting.
- Stories – Jason will put the Texas items in his tool Pivotal Tracker for story boarding to see if that is a format people like. He will do that once they have popHealth installed with Docker. Then they will start adding their desired features into Tracker and invite other people in. Focus first is documenting popHealth as-is then can describe it in this “language” in tracker.
- Jason needs test data to test his install of popHealth. Cyprus has data that is all QRDA Cat 1 files. CT sent test CCDs to Wolff in Texas and they are seeing if those work. Texas is working on having a baseline set of test data that people can use.
- ECHO (Extension for Community Health Outcomes) model
- 2015 Certification – what would it take to get certified? Have we asked InfoGuard. 2015 certification is good for 2015/16/17 and won’t need to certify again until 2018. Needed for MU Stage 2 certification. Should be on the roadmap list.
