HOTELS SUGGESTIONS

You’ll probably find the best prices for hotels in NYC through one of the online discount hotel/airline web sites, such as www.priceline.com, www.expedia.com, www.orbitz.com, www.discounthotels.com and http://www.bedandbreakfast.com/

(A lot of BBs require a minimum of 2 nights’ stay and are located in Brooklyn).

Note: The Metropolitan Museum of Art is located on Fifth Avenue between 80th St. and 84th St. in Manhattan. The 4, 5 and 6 subway lines are located nearby. A cross-town bus is available on 79th St – handy if you are staying in a hotel on the West side of Manhattan. (Fifth Avenue divides Manhattan’s East side from the West.) For more information on New York City transportation, go to www.mta.info or www.hopstop.com or Google Maps.
