Artist Statement
"Goddess" is a life-size standing female figure welded from several hundred triangular pieces of steel in a style reminiscent of cubist and futurist sculpture. All new works are based on the human figure but informed by my approach to use 'scientific data' and write my own software to turn those data into cutting instructions as the starting point for my work.
