Summary of discussion / · 2014 Hygiene kit strategy is basically and still using the numbers of minimum hygiene items and all base in kyats
· Quantities from the 2014 strategy remain valid. They are based on SPHERE standards and assume 6 people per HH, 3 of which are menstruating women. All data confirms that 6 ppl/HH is still a valid number.
· Quantities are determined on a monthly basis according to SPHERE standards. As such, the kit needs to be distributed monthly.
· IDPs are also willing to have double rationed kits distributed every other month as an alternative to the monthly. However, a triple ration distributed once every 3 months is not acceptable to IDPs.
· The hygiene kit strategy is based on Sittwe and Pauktaw Camps
