Flix In The Stix arrives in Digby This September
Digby War Memorial Hall committee have partnered with Lincolnshire-based non-profit organisation Blueprint: Film Foundation on their upcoming ‘Flix In The Stix’ project, bringing monthly cinema screenings to eight rural locations across Lincolnshire.
Beginning in September, Digby War Memorial Hall will host a range of fantastic films from a varied programme, including recent releases, award-winning films and classic titles. The film programme has been specially selected by the committee, in partnership with Blueprint: Film Foundation. Films will be screened by a technician on brand-new state-of-the-art equipment, transforming the
local hall into a cinema for one evening a month.
There will be food and drink available on site, with proceeds going to the village hall committee. Films will begin at 7.30, but doors will be open from 7pm, so make sure you arrive early to grab your seat! Tickets will be priced at £3, with £1 of all proceeds being donated to the village hall committee for use within the hall and local community. All other box office proceeds are put back into the community cinema, to allow it to continue running each month.
