Company provides visitors with new perspectives

The latest introduction by EGGER were greeted with enthusiasm at Interzum 2015.

Approximately 57,500 international visitors flocked to the world's leading trade fair Interzum in Cologne this year. Under the slogan "Perspectives", the wood-based materials manufacturer EGGER introduced its new PerfectSense collection.

The new product category PerfectSense impressed visitors and delivered a new dimension to high-end surfacing. PerfectSense Matt provides a warm and soft surface with unique properties, making it highly resistant to fingerprints. And this was welcomed everywhere, because PerfectSense Matt is equipped with the no-fingerprint feature. Hundreds of visitors left no traces on the exhibited surfaces. In contrast, PerfectSense Gloss, with a real mirror finish, has a tough, smooth and flawless surface. Together, the two PerfectSense variants impressively expressed what EGGER understands under a new dimension of high-end surfaces.

Decors, textures and edges – authentic and natural

The new synchronised pore surface Halifax Oak ST37 displayed depth, naturalness and authenticity as a worktop. Its striking deep texture is perfectly synchronised with the grain pattern of the Halifax Oak decor. In addition, EGGER used the Feelwood Nature ST28 texture at Interzum to show how the feel of real wood can be obtained on many materials - from compact laminate to laminates and worktops. To complement the theme of authentic wood decors, EGGER's exhibition stand also showcased the innovative 1.5 mm ABS safety edge in matching decors, as well as the end grain edging that matches the Feelwood worktop surfaces. With the new ST30 Gloss Finish, ST87 Ceramic and ST89 Silvretta textures, the wood-based materials manufacturer also showed at Interzum how the natural stone look currently in high demand can also be brought to worktops.

Placing accents there where they are wanted – EGGER reacts to this trend with its coloured core laminates, which were also presented at Interzum. The wood-based materials manufacturer created the solid colour look through a multilayer structure made of the same colour impregnated decor papers.

The latest texture and décor updates have the themes of reduction and complexity. Visitors to the EGGER exhibition stand were enthusiastic about the skilful combination of contrasts, classically elegant designs and a wide pallet of grey tones. At Interzum, EGGER showed this combination of contrasts not only using decors and textures, but also in product applications.

The edging manufacturer Roma Plastik, part of the EGGER Group, was also present at EGGER's trade fair presentations at this year's Interzum in Cologne. A wide range of high quality edging solutions were presented. Roma edges can be combined with all EGGER decors. Particularly impressive were the PerfectSense Gloss and PerfectSense Matt edging ranges developed especially for the new EGGER product category.

Inviting perspective

EGGER took the opportunity to launch its new and inviting exhibition stand concept to the host of international visitors. The innovative architecture perfectly framed the exhibited decors, textures and wood-based materials for furniture and interior design. The design of the exhibition stand gained a great deal of enthusiastic feedback from visitors and underlined EGGER as a modern, international and welcoming family business. The uniformly positive and enthusiastic feedback from visitors to the EGGER stand reaffirms once more the path that EGGER has taken with this trade fair presentation.

Experiencing EGGER with all your senses

The new EGGER POS occupied the centre of this year's exhibition stand. With the new concept of "Brand in space", the wood-based materials manufacturer turns the advice and contact between salesman and customer into a multifaceted experience, strikingly expressing the feel of EGGER products and services. The EGGER POS is the spatial expression of how advice and sales can be successfully structured in contact with the customers – not only from a tactile point of view, but also regarding atmosphere. The concept generates emotions through its inviting and flexible design. In this way, the wood-based materials manufacturer manages to stand out, together with its retail partner, from conventional solutions in the POS. The new EGGER Point of Sale has been developed for all of the EGGER Group product areas: From laminate flooring, right through to the decorative range of products for furniture and interior design. Inside the two half shells, you can also interact with the world of EGGER via the EGGER POS app.
