CBHDA 2015/16 Governing Board Members (As of 04-28-16)
Governing Board Members: The Governing Board of the Association shall consist of the Association officersand all other members of the Executive Committee; all county and city members of the Association {the head of each local behavioral health authority, or the mental health and/or substance use authority (if there is not a behavioral health authority,) or her/his designee, shall be eligible for membership}; the chairs of each of the following Regional Committees: Bay Area, Superior California, Central California, Los Angeles and Southern California; one additional representative from the Los Angeles Region; and the chairs of each committeeand/or work group.
The President or Executive Director of the California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA) and the President/CEO of the California Institute for Behavioral Health Solutions (CIBHS) shall be invited to serve as Ex-Officio members with no vote. Committee/work groupchairs shall be selected by the Executive Committee and ratified by the Governing Board. A committee/work group may have more than one chair.
Regardless of the membership of the Governing Board, each county/city shall have only one official vote on issues that come before the Board.
