COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC

Please fill out a “Citizen Registration Card” form in order to address the Council. Turn in the form prior to Communications from the Public to Assistant City Secretary Thelma Newton. Speakers are limited to three minutes. The purpose of this item is to allow the public an opportunity to address the Mayor and City Council on issues that are not on the agenda. The Council cannot take action, but may refer this item to a department head or direct that this item be placed on the next regular Council agenda.

CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS

This agenda consists of non-controversial or “housekeeping” items required by law. Items may be removed from the Consent Agenda by any Councilmember making such a request prior to a motion and vote on the Consent Agenda.

3.  Consideration and approval of the Minutes of the March 25, 2013 Workshop Meeting.

4.  Consideration and approval of the Minutes of the March 25, 2013Regular Meeting.

5.  Consideration and approval of Supplemental Appraisal Records #1 - #7 as presented by the Waller County Appraisal District for tax years 2007-2012.

6.  Consideration and approval of a Property Tax Refund for the 2012 Tax Year to Lawrence and Corene Chapman in the amount of $333.63.

7.  Consideration and approval of Job Descriptions for all positions of employment for the City of Waller

REGULAR ITEMS

8.  Consideration and possible action to approve a Resolution In Support of Proposed Legislation, HB 571 and SB 233, Clarifying the Power of the Tomball Regional Health Foundation, as the Authority Board, to make Expenditures for Public Health Purposes.

9.  Consideration and possible action to approve an Ordinance Prohibiting Through Truck Traffic on Field Store Road, from Business 290 to Waller Tomball Road, and Mill Street, from Field Store Road to Hamilton Street; and a Truck Route designated on Field Store Road, going north on from Waller Tomball Road, and on Waller Tomball Road, from Field Store Road to F.M. 2920.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WALLER, TEXAS BY AMENDING SECTION 66-05, THROUGH TRUCK TRAFFIC PROHIBITED, OF CHAPTER 66 - STREETS, SIDEWALKS AND OTHER PUBLIC PLACES – TO PROHIBIT TRUCK TRAFFIC ON CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY AND TO DESIGNATE A ROUTE OR ROUTES FOR TRHOUGH TRUCK TRAFFIC; PROVIDING A PENALTY IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $200 FOR EACH VIOLATION HEREOF; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND MAKING FINDS RELATED THERETO.

10.  Consideration and possible action to approve a Letter of Resignation from Brenda Bundick as a Councilmember.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

11.  City Council will convene into Closed Executive Session pursuant to the Texas Government Code, Section 551.072 for the purpose of Deliberating Real Property.

REGULAR SESSION

12.  Consideration and possible action regarding Real Estate as discussed in the Executive Session under the Texas Government Code, Section 551.072.
