Additional Information

As a full time A level student I managed a weekly work load of study, revision and exam preparation alongside a part time job and fostering. I have excellent computer skills and as can be seen from my Degree, A level and GCSE results I have excelled in all subjects. I have excellent communication skills and I am a proven team player. I regularly receive positive feedback from both customers and management of the Plough And Harrow Restaurant for my excellent customer service skills. I am told regularly that I have a friendly, caring and positive approach with customers and my colleagues. Additionally through my school career I have been a prefect member of a school council and a buddy which consists of being a voice of my fellow pupils and also dealing directly with other people’s problems e.g. bullying and making decisions independently. I went through pupil training to be selected for each of these roles teaching me how to deal with people’s feelings and handle potentially serious situations.

My family have been fostering for Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council (NPTBC) for the past 8 years. I worked alongside many professional people within the social services in order to produce a magazine for 'all sons and daughters of foster carers'. I have attended various initial fostering training courses promoting equality, diversity and rights of individuals and group. During many of the courses attended I have been required to give presentations to a large audience from the perspective of sons and daughters of foster carers.

Hobbies and Interests

I have my own transport and a full clean driving licence. Also,I am a non-smoker. My family are Registered Foster Carers.I keep fit by attending the gym at least 4 days a week and playing 5-side football in the Cardiff Power League.
