School Council Meeting
Our next school council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th at 6:30 pm in the Learning Commons. All parents or guardians are welcome. This is a wonderful opportunity to stay up to date on events at McNaughton and to share ideas and input. Hope to see you there.
Medical Information:
It is important that our school has up to date information on your child’s medical condition. Please be sure to notify the school as soon as possible of any changes.
Food Drive
Thanks to the outstanding efforts of our school community and the assistance of Farm Credit Canada, we were able to donate 3287 meals to our local food bank. This shows such a spirit of giving and outreach. Thanks to Mrs. Lamoure for all of her time and efforts to make this possible once again!
Bus Zone 8-Inclement Weather
The Lambton Kent District School Board has administrative procedures, which will assist parents on mornings when dangerous weather conditions exist, such as fog at this time of year. If foggy, busses may be cancelled for their morning route as early as possible, however students will be bussed home after school. The decision whether to cancel busses will be made by the bus operators. Parents should listen to their local radio station, or check the transportation website at www.schoolbusinfo.com.
Visitors to the School
All visitors must report to the office at all times. Please do not proceed down to the classrooms. If you need to speak with your child, we will gladly call them down to the office for you.
Driveways & Parking
It is important that all parents follow the directions in the parking lot for entering and exiting for your safety and the safety of all our students and parents. Please do not park, or drop students off in the bus route. Parents, who are dropping off for daycare, are to turn off their vehicle, and take their keys out of the ignition, ensuring safety for all.
