5 MILE RACE 11.00am
The race starts promptly at 11.00 am on Jubilee Park, with a half circuit of the perimeter before crossing onto the field paths on the Abbots Ripton Estate. The course is entirely off road and the paths are grass and farm tracks. The route has gentle undulations and when recently inspected the course was firm and dry. The course is a single circuit and returns to Jubilee Park completing the remaining perimeter of the field. The Start and Finish are at the same point. Please keep moving once you have crossed the finish line. Timing chips will be removed in the finish area and finisher medals and goody bags collected.
1.5 MILE FUN RUN 10.00am
The fun run starts at 10.00am and is 2 laps of Jubilee Park. The race starts at the gantry with the timing mat. The second lap passes the start without running through the timing mat. On completing the second lap runners pass through the finish funnel , where timing chips are removed and medals and goody bags collected.
RACE NUMBERS AND CHIP TIMING
Race numbers and chip timing tags must be collected from the Registration Desks at Race HQ in the Club House on the morning of the race. Race HQ will be open from 8.00am. The race numbers will be allocated alphabetically by surname, and you will be given your race number in an envelope with your timing chip, and safety pins. A list of runners with race numbers will also be published. Medical and contact details should be written on the reverse of the race number. Your race number should be visible at all times during the race. You will receive instructions on attaching the chip timing tag when this is collected.
