Lentmadness
It's fun, educational and competitive! So far we have voted for saints and learned about Helena, decided to vote for either Cyril or his brother, Methodius, and as we go to press it looks like Meister Eckhart is winning.
Yes, we can check the polling before we vote.
Go to www.lentmadness.com and see what this election is all about!

Know Chocolate for Lent
Second Sunday in Lent: Know how being different is a blessing.
Our Lenten commitment to “know chocolate” challenges us to embrace the differences that make God’s creation unique—both for the cacao tree and for the Christian disciple.
Scripture: Mark 8:31-38 Romans 4:13-25
Third Sunday in Lent: Know which part of life is most important.
Our Lenten commitment to “know chocolate” challenges us to envision the potential for changing the world— both with chocolate and with God’s love.
Scripture: John 2:13-22 1 Corinthians 1:18-25
Dear Friends in Christ,
Thank you all for sharing the ministry of Saint Mark’s with me for the past four months. It has been a delight to minister with you.
Thank you also for the gracious send off on January 31st. Your parting gifts are most appreciated! Glee and I will certainly enjoy our visits to the Matanuck Oyster House – a long time favorite of ours.
Glee and I wish Saint Mark’s well as you venture into a new chapter in the life of that venerable parish,
Fondly in Christ,
The Rev. Canon Robert Miner
