SKYWAY’S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING PROGRAM 2014

September 9th – October 2nd

Hip! Hip! Hooray!! Cross Country is back. Melissa Giles, Erika Grubb, & Amy Lawsonwill be your 2014 coaches and we are excited for the season to start. The season will begin Tuesday, September 9th and end Thursday,October 2nd, with a school meet vs. Atlas Elementary! This program will consist of 45-minute training sessions held either before school 7:45 to 8:30 AM. First - Fifth graders can participate in the program. Training sessions include stretching, running relays, and other active games. This is a fun program with fitness and individual improvement encouraged.

The PROGRAM’S SUCCESS depends on parents and friends volunteering as coaches. If you can help mark and tabulate laps, help with timing runners, help encourage, and help with directions, YOU CAN COACH. Please come to a meeting Friday September 5TH AT 3:35 PM in the gym (this will be a short 15 minute meeting). If you are unable to attend the meeting, please be at the first team practice/meeting on Tuesday, September 9th in the gym @ 7:45 am.
