What we provide.
ü All the necessary woodwork workbenches, tools, wood and associated materials.
ü Projects to suit all age ranges and levels of experience.
ü Setup time: 20-40 minutes depends on distance required to transport equipment.
What you need to provide.
Ø Free parking with easy & close access for the van to unload the equipment
Ø An empty room on the ground floor only with close access for a van.
Ø Room: All furniture needs to be cleared. Leave 5-6 classroom or trestle tables for display and hammering.
The sessions will need to be run in a suitable large indoor area, without carpet where possible.
Staff
Staff actively supervise children and follow their own staff/child ratio.
Children with additional needs must have a staff member assisting them at all times.
Staff discipline children when appropriate, without interrupting the instructor and session where possible.
Terms & Conditions
Please try and make sure the coordinators from each location contact us a few days before the program regarding numbers of children.
Please be clear onparticipant numbersandnumber of sessions when booking as cancellationsmayneed to be made when sessions are initially booked and then later altered dueto numbers.
- Children should be divided into age appropriate groups based on how many sessions are running with
no more than 26 children in each group.
- 12-26 children : 1 session X 1.5, 2 or 2.5 hours;
- 27-30 children : 1 session X 2 or 2.5 hours;
- over 30 children will require 2 sessions of 1.5, 2 or 2.5 hours.

1. Just Woodwork (no kits required)
Children have a selection of 10 to 20 designs.

2. Road Safety - help your children to develop Road Safety Skills.
Road safety learning is most effective when it involves practical activities that take place in on-road situations.
* Learning about road rules and safety can be fun as children build their own signs to create an authentic road system;
* Children will make and take home their own road safety signs and vehicles to practice good skills on the road.

Ride on Billy Carts
When Just Building A Mini Billy Cart Isn’t Enough…
Much of the fun with Billy Carts is had when they are being designed and built for a real propose.
In this workshop students will create full-sized ride-on Billy Carts.
Children are divided in 4 teams. They receive step-by-step instructions to building ride on Billy Carts.

This program can give children opportunities to explore their monster fears with curiosity and creativity. Encourage outrageous explorations that can help children master the monsters.
Children can create a monster of their own, not like one in a book or on TV. Set out bits of scrap wood, foil, buttons, pebbles, and other craft items that children might use for monster eyes, hair and claws.
