Supply Chain Management is emerging to become the competitive edge among enterprises.

According to a 2013 survey conducted in North America, qualified supply chain specialists and experts are in serious shortage. On average, there are six job vacancies for every graduating university students. Although the similar study was not found in Hong Kong, recruiting and retaining supply chain experts remains a challenge.

In this SCM expert sharing session, three SCM industry women leaders will be presented and share their secrets of success with participants. Their achievements in the luxury and consumer item’s supply chain management and offering of a variety of logistics services has been remarkable. Come and join us to learn from them and develop more talents at your work place.

Managing Director, Hacis (Hong Kong Air Cargo Industry Services)
Vivien Lau was appointed Managing Director of Hacis in October 2012 and ExecutiveDirector of Hactl in July 2014.
Hong Kong Air Cargo Industry Services Limited (Hacis) is a wholly-owned subsidiary ofHong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) to provide integrated logistics supportservices. Today, Hacis serves more than 200 airlines and freight forwarders, providing
value-added services to import and export air cargoes, as well as road-feeder servicesbetween Hong Kong and China.

Vivien joined the Jardines Group in 2000 as Executive Trainee. In the first 6 years, she

was responsible for marketing and business development for its wholly-owned

subsidiary, EastPoint Property Management. In 2006, Vivien joined Jardine Airport

Services to expand business in China. Prior to joining Hacis, she was Executive

Assistant to Managing Director of Jardine Matheson Group.

Supplier Relationship Management Manager, Hallmark Cards (HK) Ltd.
Michelle has been managing supplier relations for Hallmark since 1999. Her appointment at Hallmark commenced as Supplier Compliance Manager and was promoted to Business Development and Strategic Sourcing Manger in 2010.
She was assigned with additional responsibility in Supplier Relationship Manager with an even more focused responsibility to develop supply segmentation criteria; and scalable strategies to align various segments of suppliers with the business goal.

Her career development from supplier compliance focused to strategic sourcing management has transformed Michelle to an acclaimed supply chain management expert in the industry. She is commissioned to further strategize the supply network for the Company for better business performance.

/ Ms. Vicky KOO, FCILT
Director of Supply Chain Council, Hong Kong
Vicky is a qualified SCOR-P instructor by Supply Chain Council in USA; and Certified Trainer of The Fresh Connection,a SCM simulation engine in Europe. She is also a Guest Lecturer on Supply Chain Management subject at universities in Hong Kong.
With over 20 years of Supply Chain and Logistics Management experience, she has re-engineered Logistics and Supply Chain process for multinational corporations e.g. Levi’s, Columbia, Occidental Chemical, Avery Dennison and other enterprises globally. With her professionalism on Supply Chain Management and RFID as an SCM technology, she provides consultations to enterprises to improveprocess efficiency.

Being the Convenor of WiLAT (Women in Logistics and Transport) Hong Kong since 2012, Vicky orchestrated the establishment and forthcoming activities for young women and lady practitioners to excel in the L&T industry. She is one of the Founding Members of CILT Macau which inaugurated in April this year. Prior to joining CILT HK, she served as Council member in CILT Singapore.
