B.Unload,store,anderectmetalpanelsinamannertopreventbending,warping,twisting,andsurfacedamage.

C.Storepanels,flashingsandaccessoriesionasafe,dryenvironmentunderawaterproofbreathablecoveringtopreventwaterdamage.Allowforadequateventilationtopreventcondensation.Panelsandflashingswithstrippablefilmshallnotbestoredindirectsunlight.

1.6WARRANTY

1.Examineprimaryandsecondaryroofframingtoverifythatrafters,purlins,angles,channels,andotherstructuralpanelsupportmembersandanchorageshavebeeninstalledwithinalignmenttolerancesrequiredbymetalroofpanelmanufacturer.

2.Examinesolidroofsheathingtoverifythatsheathingjointsaresupportedbyframingorblockingandthatinstallationiswithinflatnesstolerancesrequiredbymetalroofpanelmanufacturer.

B.Examineroughing-inforcomponentsandsystemspenetratingmetalpanelstoverifyactuallocationsofpenetrationsrelativetoseamlocationsofmetalpanelsbeforeinstallation.

C.Proceedwithinstallationonlyafterunsatisfactoryconditionshavebeencorrected.

3.2PREPARATION

A.MiscellaneousSupports:Installsub-framing,furring,andothermiscellaneouspanelsupportmembersandanchoragesaccordingtoASTMC754andmetalpanelmanufacturer'swritten recommendations.

3.3METALPANELINSTALLATION

A.General:Installmetalpanelsaccordingtomanufacturer'swritteninstructionsinorientation,sizes,andlocationsindicated.Installpanelsperpendiculartosupportsunlessotherwiseindicated.AnchormetalpanelsandothercomponentsoftheWorksecurelyinplace,withprovisionsforthermalandstructuralmovement.

2.Flashandsealmetalpanelsatperimeterofallopenings. Refer to manufacturers recommendations.

B.Removeandreplaceapplicationsofmetalroofpanelswheretestsandinspectionsindicatethattheydonotcomplywithspecifiedrequirements.

C.Prepareinspectionreports.

D.Installermusthaveinstallationshopdrawingsonsiteatalltimes.

3.6CLEANINGANDPROTECTION

A.Removetemporaryprotectivecoveringsandstrippablefilms,ifany,asmetalpanelsareinstalled,unlessotherwiseindicatedinmanufacturer'swritteninstallationinstructions.Oncompletionofmetalpanelinstallation,cleanfinishedsurfacesasrecommendedbymetalpanelmanufacturer.Maintaininacleanconditionduringconstruction.

B.Replacemetalpanelsthathavebeendamagedorhavedeterioratedbeyondsuccessfulrepairbyfinishtouchuporsimilarminorrepairprocedures.
