2. Exploring Facts vs Opinions Students will explore facts vs. opinions and understand opinions can be different for each person. / Fact vs. Opinion Organizer: Students will identify facts and opinions by sorting statements into different organizers to identify whether they are a true fact or an opinion.
Students will work in pairs or small groups to sort facts and opinions.
Fact vs. Opinion Assessment: Completed independently. Students will sort statements into different categories to show they level of mastery for understanding of facts and opinions.
Think Pair Share: recall different adjectives that described memories.
Students will recall adjectives from the story to describe memories.

Write about the place they would like to explore by completing a page in their response journal.
10. My Memory Museum / Student presentations: Students will present their memory journey by talking about the process they went through and their important journeys.
Teacher/Students Created Rubric: The class will create a rubric with teacher’s guidance to list needed criteria for the museum displays.
