Together, we’ll explore how Main Streets can position themselves at the forefront of the new economy, dive into the critical intersection of health and place, discover how commercial districts can be drivers of equity and inclusion, and so much more. During three exciting days of educational sessions, mobile workshops, and special events, Main Street Now will offer creative solutions to everyday Main Street challenges to help position your community for success.
The Main Street Now Conference is the largest nationwide gathering of preservation-based economic development and community revitalization professionals, including downtown and neighborhood Main Street directors, volunteers, architects, planners, public officials, and consultants. Whatever your experience, the2018 Main Street NowConference is your opportunity to further your community development education and network with colleagues experiencing similar successes and challenges,while enjoying all that the Heartland has to offer!

The 2018conference is expected to bring over 1,600 attendees from around the country and will feature educational sessions ranging from 45-minute “crash courses,” to 75-minute classroom sessions and 3-hour “deep dives.” Full- and half-day mobile education sessions inKansas City’s urban neighborhoods and nearby Missouri communities will also be offered. Learn about the innovative methods and practices that make the Main Street Approach® one of the most powerful economic development tools in the nation.
