Applying for Research Discounts

This information pack serves to outline the process of applying for a research grant and to provide Pearson Clinical and Talent Assessment(PCTA) with the information needed to evaluate your request.The research must have Ethics Approval before we can consider a request for assistance. Included in this document is the discount request form which can be completed electronically and emailed to NOTE: Please save and submit a copy of this document as follows: Name of Organisation_Researcher’s Last Name_First Name.doc. Only word documents are accepted.

Purchase and Use of Pearson Products

Pearson Clinical and Talent Assessmentrequires all applicants to register with us first.Registration is quick and easy and can be completedonline at Each registered user is assigned a User Level which (a) allows you to place an order, and (b)establishes which materials are available to you topurchase.

Discounts

Discounts can only be offered for Pearson published products.The publishing status of each product can be found at Research discounts are not applicable on distributed products, combo kits, Q-Local Software and assessments delivered via the online TalentLens platform. The discount offered applies only to products initially assessed for the research and cannot be used for any additional items.

If a discount is offered to you by PCTA, a discount code will be issued and this code must be quoted on your purchase order or order form.

Reproduction of Test Materials

Unless otherwise stated, all materials sold by PCTA are protected under the Copyright Act of 1968. Products, including assessment materials and record forms, are not to be reproduced, adapted or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical, including photocopying, recording or any information storage or retrieval system including digitised systems.To do so is a legal violation of the Act.Requests to reproduce any materials either electronically or mechanically, including photocopying, recording or copying into any information storage or retrieval system, or to translate or adapt any materials, must be in writing and directed to:
