“INFORMATION EXCHANGE/IPP TRAINING”
The overall objectives of the workshop are to increase national capacity through training for official contact points in the use of the IPP in the exchange of official information and how to access official information for use in the phytosanitary decision making process.
All the Workshop´s programme is in English.
The Workshop´s IPP Training will take place at the Villa BERTRAMKA, W.A.Mozart´s Museum, Mozartova Street No.168., abt.five minutes of walk from the Hotel Ibis.
There is also a Restaurant there where lunch will be served for the workshop´s participants.

Our Society COMENIUS will provide welcome service for all the participants at the Airport Prague-Ruzyně, conforming with the times of their arrivals in Prague, including the transport to the Hotel IBIS. After the workshop´s end, the same applies to their departure from the Hotel, according to the airtickets´ reservation. All the expenses connected with the stay of the participants in Prague, i.e.board and accommodation at Hotel IBIS and travel costs, are within the FAO budget for the event.
Each participant with a visa duty receives an official invitation by the Czech Ministry of Agriculture.

The hotel is situated near the centre of the city of Prague, in the proximity of the place called The Golden Angel.
The Metro „B“ Station, „Angel“ is about 5 minutes´ walk from the Ibus Hotel. The next station of „B“ is Karlovo square ( = náměstí), then follows „Národní třída“ (in the proximity of the National Theatre, which is situated at the Vltava River embankment). Further station is „Můstek“, this place being at the bottom of the real centre of Prague, „The Golden Cross“,i.e. Václavské náměstí (Wenceslas Square), at its upper end there is the building the National Museum.
Another possibility to reach the „Golden Cross“ from the Ibis Hotel is to go by tram,
using one of numbers 9, 3 or 14.
Tickets for the transport:
The participants can buy an advantageous municipal transport ticket.
Please, note that when first using the ticket you have to stamp it in the stamping machine before entering the transport area of the Metro Station or after entering the bus or the tram. Only then the ticket is valid

We would like to remind to all participants that they will have to document
(after the arrival in the Prague Airport Ruzyně, during the check on passports) to have arranged the health insurance at their local Health Insurance Company, covering the stay in Prague.

The programme will be opened on Monday, February 2l, at 09:30h. The participants will be awaited at 09:00h at the Ibis Hotel Reception by the organizer, who will take the guests to the place of the Workshop´Programme, Bertramka Villa.
