Dear Mr Smith
Further to your request for information dated 9thDecember 2013, I am able to provide the following response.
You asked us:
Please could you provide letters or communications from the medicine management group to health care professionals sent out throughout 2013 to the current time?
You further clarified that you required:
- The prescribing newsletter which is disseminated across Betsi Cadwaladr
University Health Board (BCUHB).
- In addition, there is also the Drugs & Therapies Group (DTG) update newsletter which reports on medicines and medicines related issues from DTG. This update is disseminated across BCUHB, and also to GP practices. The update newsletters have been sent out on a monthly basis since February 2012.
Our Response:
- The latest Prescribing Newsletter was the Strategies to Improve Antibiotic Prescribing, issued December 2012. We also produced a Community Pharmacy Briefing, issued in May 2013. Please refer to the embedded attachments below.
- Due to staffing resources there has only been two DTG newsletters, January and February 2013. Please refer to the embedded attachments below
