Position Summary

Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon, seeks energetic and teaching-focused candidates for one full-time Electronics Instructor position. This positioninstructs and facilitates student work in the Electronics Technology Program. This instructor works as an integral part of the High School Partnerships team, working collaboratively with staff and faculty in the program.
Chemeketa serves a large, diverse three-county area through its central campus in Salem, a network of satellite campuses and centers, and by being a statewide leader in online education. Centrally located in Oregon's Willamette Valley, Salem, the state capitol, is very close to mountains, beaches, national and state parks, small towns, and the city of Portland.
This teaching assignment may include the use of non-traditional delivery methodologies such as: telecourses, cable television and online/internet courses. Duty days may fluctuate from the traditional September - June schedule.

Chemeketa Community College is the third largest post-secondary institution in Oregon, with approximately 50,000 students enrolled from a diversity of backgrounds. Salary

$47,612.00 - $78,142.00 Annually

Requirements

Associate Degree in Electronics from an accredited institution
-AND-
Four years of related industry experience
-AND-
Current Oregon High School Teaching License
-OR-
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from an accredited institution
-AND-
At least 24 credits in Electronics, Engineering, Computer Science or Manufacturing Technology
-AND-
Current Oregon High School Teaching License
