Kenosha County Outdoor Track & Field Meet – Tuesday, May 8, 2018
- Teams competing are: Bradford, Christian Life, Indian Trail, Shoreland Lutheran, St. Joseph, Tremper, Westosha Central and Wilmot
- Coaches’ meeting at 3:30 p.m. Field events begin at 4:00 p.m. Track events begin at 4:30 p.m.
Coaches’ meeting will be held in the southeast team room on the track side of the concession stand.
- All schools must provide workers to run the field events. Assignments are as follows:
Pole Vault- Central/ShorelandDiscus- St. JosephHigh Jump- Tremper
Long Jump- Wilmot/Christian LifeShot Put- BradfordTriple Jump- Indian Trail
- Long Jump and Triple Jump competition will be open pit for an hour and a half- 4 jumps (no finals). Long jump will be boys first, then girls. Triple jump will be girls first, then boys.
- Shot Put and Discus will be in flights- 4 attempts (1-1-1-1) - no finals. Shot put will be boys first, then girls. Discus will be girls first, then boys.
- High Jump and Pole Vault starting heights will be announced at the coaches’ meeting. High Jump will be boys first, then girls. Pole vault will be girls first, then boys.
- Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 with medals awarded to first, second, and third places. Team trophies to first place boys and girls teams.
- Order of Events: All running events will be timed finals with girls running first, followed by boys.

- Entries: Entries will be accepted online only using athletic.net. Teams can access on-line entry directly at or through The meet is titled “Kenosha County Outdoor” in athletic.net. You must have entries submitted by 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 6thfor this meet. Meet information, heat sheets, and results will be posted at
Results will also be posted after each event is determined to be final.
- All teams may enter three individuals per event, but only one relay team per event. Team are reminded that each athlete is limited to four entries.
- Relay Exchange Zones – each staff will be in charge of monitoring an exchange zone.
*00 Relay- Exchange 1 & 3: St. Joseph (lanes 1-4) and Shoreland (lanes 5-8).
Exchange 2: Indian Trail (lanes 1-4) and Westosha (lanes 5-8).
400 Relay- Exchange 1 & 3: Indian Trail (lanes 1-4) and Tremper (lanes 5-8).
Exchange 2: Bradford (lanes 1-4) and Wilmot (lanes 5-8).
Exchange 3: Christian Life (lanes 1-4) and Westosha (lanes 5-8).
- Jury of Appeals: Indian Trail Boys Coach, St. Joseph Head Coach, and Wilmot Girls Coach.
- Officials: Scott Lindgren, Dave Manderfeld, William Haury. The clerk will be Bob Edgington.
- Bradford has a Seal-Flex Beynon polyurethane surface. The track has nine 42” lanes on the curves and on the straights. Long and Triple Jump pits are at the southeast corner of the stadium and can be contested in either the north or south direction. The Pole Vault runway extends east/west on the inside of the south end of the track with a box at each end. The High Jump is located on the inside of the north end of the track. Starting blocks will be provided.
- Restroom facilities will be available, but locker rooms are NOT available. Please have your athletes come dressed to compete.
- CAT: A Certified Athletic Trainer will be on site.
- Concessions: A concession stand will be available throughout the meet. Teams will receive meal tickets for their coaches for dinner at the concession stand.
- Camps: Team tents may be set up on the grass area on the southwest/northwest side of the stadium’s main bleachers.
- Spikes: ¼” pyramid spikes are the maximum allowed. NO pins or Christmas tree spikes allowed. Spikes will be checked during event check in. HJ/LJ/TJ/PV surface is the same as the track.
- Clerking: Running event check in will be at the start of the 100 Meters on the north end of the track. A table will be set up near the starting line to pick up hip numbers.
- Announcers: Jerry Munia, a retired track coach from Oak Creek, and Tom Roders, a former Bradford track coach (1975-1988) will be meet announcers.
- Admission: Adults $4.00 and students $3.00.
- ALL athletes, non-competitors, and coaches are asked to please stay out of the infield. We will have a gate open on each end of the track for runners to enter and exit the track.
