Expressions of interest are invited from teachers interested in a career opportunity relieving in the position of temporary classroom teacher from the commencement of Term 1 until the end of Term 3 (with the possibility of an extension to the end of the school year). The position with be located at:

An expression of interest addressing the criteria, of no more than 2 A4 pages in length should be submitted to Tanya Potter, Principal of Coledale PS at the following email by 5pm on Monday 7 November 2016. Expressions of interest require the signature of the applicant’s current principal or supervisor.

Selection criteria

§  Approval to teach K-6, with demonstrated excellence in the planning and delivery of high quality learning programs with an emphasis on literacy and numeracy.

§  Demonstrated experience in using evidence based practices and current data to inform the teaching and learning cycle and deliver engaging, differentiated learning for students.

§  Outstanding teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to make a broader contribution to the school community especially in the area of sport and the creative arts.

§  Demonstrated capacity to support quality pedagogy with technology and 21st Century learning practice through the 4C's -collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and communication.
