Find a good kids Valentines story to read to calm them down after some Epic Dancing!

Craft Ideas:

·  Make a Valentine to take to a loved one

·  Pipe cleaner heart glasses or rings (www.makeandtakes.com/heart-shaped-pipe-cleaner-rings) (http://www.makeandtakes.com/pipe-cleaner-heart-shaped-love-goggles )

·  Heart Necklace: Have students decorate a heart and then tape a piece of yarn on the back that

can be tied to make a necklace.

·  Have students glue candy hearts they received to construction paper to make a Valentines heart or design. Provide markers or crayons to add extra decoration to the paper. You can also do this activity in the reverse order: Ask students to put as many candy hearts inside a paper heart.

Combine several activities to keep students engaged. Take time for Valentine exchanges and snacks, but do not allow the party to revolve around food and treats.
