Pharmadule signs contract for expansion of Astra Zeneca’s manufacturing facility in China
Pharmadule, the world leading supplier of high-tech modular facilities for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries, signs contract for expansion of AstraZeneca's manufacturing facility in Wuxi, China. With the order from AstraZeneca Pharmadule once again proves that it is the preferred partner for many pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies worldwide.
The project in Wuxi, China amounts to 13 MSEK (corresponding to $2,1million or €1,4 million) and will be handed over to the client at the end of 2008. The project includes additional capacity for freeze drying of Nexium® and is a response to AstraZeneca’s increased market projections for the product. It is an expansion of a filling and freeze drying facility that Pharmadule delivered in 2000 as part of AstraZeneca’s large manufacturing establishment in China.
