Rayshawn James will be hosting a free breakfast for our residents who have lost loved ones. This will be an opportunity to meet and speak with others who are experiencing loss. Please join Rayshawn on September 25th @ 9am in the Gathering Room of the Community Center.
Bushkill Fire Company Auxiliary is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner to benefit the families of Robert Justis and Christopher Kuna. Bob Justis was a Firefighter with theBushkill FireDepartment for 26 years. He was the Head Trustee and Dive Captain. Chris just received a plaque at their last banquet for his 50th year being a member. He was a past chief and held many other positions as well throughout those 50 years. Both, Bob & Chris left all at the Firehouse and their families at home suddenly and unexpectedly back in June. Join the Fire Department on September 9th for Salad, Spaghetti, Dessert, Soda and Water to help offset any financial difficulties the families may already have or may endure in the upcoming months while dealing with the unexpected deaths of their loved ones. Adults $10.00 Children ages 2-10 $5.00 Children under 2 years old are free. All proceeds from the spaghetti dinner will go directly to the families.
