6th & 7th Grades

I can't believe how quickly this summer has gone by! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone soon and hearing all about your exciting summer adventures.

I thought I would go ahead and post the dreaded school supply list for your viewing pleasure. So here goes:

  • composition notebooks - students will need 4-5 of these. These notebooks are the smaller ones that are sewn together. Traditionally they had a black and white marbled cover, now they are all sorts of colors and designs. Go wild with these. We will be creating our own custom cover for some of these notebooks.
  • scissors
  • white glue - students will need the liquid type of glue. We will be using interactive notebooks this year and the glue sticks just don't work.
  • ear buds - students will be spending time working on the computers for class work, review and testing.
  • flash drive - Students will use these to save their papers and projects. Mr. Bitely uses them for math as well.
  • Kleenex - for the classroom supply
  • hand sanitizer - for the classroom supply Please do not send small individual bottles, they often become distractions.
  • water bottle - we do not have a drinking fountain in our room, but we do have a bathroom with a sink so students will be able to fill their bottles for the day. They may also fill them in the morning. I remind students to take water bottles home on Friday's to be washed.
  • pencils/ pens
  • I will provide all colored pencils and crayons. I will also be providing the students with a binder and tabs that we will use to keep work organized. They will also be given an agenda which they will be required to fill out daily.
