MainResponsibility:Toplan,leadanddeliverawell-balancedandco-ordinatedprogrammeusing theEnglandNetballcoachingsyllabusas outlined in the coach resource ‘TheGame Plan’.
Duties:
1.Plan,prepare,deliverandreviewalltrainingsessions,followingtheEnglandNetballcoaching syllabusas outlinedinthecoachresource‘TheGamePlan’
2.ActinaccordancetotheCodesofConductoftheCountyNetballAssociation,representingthe Countyatalltimesandnotindividualclubs.
3.Allowobservationatsessionsby thePPC, County Head Scout and/or peer(s)
4.SupporttheAcademy Assistant Coach.
5.AttendanyrelatedAcademyeventssuchasCountyandSatelliteMatchDaysandTri-Regional Days.
6.Encourageaprofessional,friendlyatmosphereensuringallthosetakingpartareproperlyguided and supervised.
7.Carryoutpre-activitychecksatthestartofeachsessiontoensurethevenue,equipmentand activityaresafeandfreeofhazards.
8.Wear County specificor neutral kit/clothing.
9.Ensure any required administration is completed, including records of attendance, player emergency contacts andwhere applicable Accident/Incident Record Forms.
10.Liaise with the PPC regarding nominations from theacademy for Screening Days.
11.Undertakerelevanttrainingcoursesasappropriate,particularlyEnglandNetballTechnicalSkills WorkshopsandvisittheAcademyaboveonoccasionstounderstandthenextlevelup.
12.Ensurethesessions aredeliveredinaccordancewithEnglandNetball’sSafeguardingPolicy.
13.Produce athlete monitoring forms and feedback.
