CALL TO ORDER AND NOTATION OF QUORUM: Chairperson Peterson called the regular meeting of October 1, 2014, to order at 11:30 a.m.
ROLL CALL:
Present : Erik Bahle, Amy Peterson, Steve Lutke, Nick Wierzba, Alicia Evans, Morgan Rokosz and Harry Brandt. Quorum present.
Absent: Jen Lewis, Harry Wiberg
Village Staff Present: Wally Delamater
Guests: 0
APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Moved by Bahle, second by Evans to approve the agenda as presented.
Ayes-7, Nays-0, Absent-2. Motion Carried.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Moved by Evans, second by Bahle to approve the minutes of September 10. 2014.
Ayes-7, Nays-0, Absent-2. Motion Carried.
PUBLIC COMMENT: No comments received.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:
A. Downtown Development Authority By Laws
Chairperson Peterson asked questions regarding conflict of interest for Board members and about the executive director position.
Moved by Brandt, second by Evans to approve the Downtown Development By Laws as presented and that the By Laws are to be presented to Village Council for approval prior to enactment.
Ayes-7, Nays-0, Absent-2. Motion Carried.
B. Conflict of Interest
Village Manager presented the Board with information on “Conflict of Interest”. The Board reviewed the information and ask several questions to clarify conflict of interest. No action required.
C. Community Plan Review
The Village Manager presented an overview of past community plans as a precursor to the DDA Plan development process. No action required.
REPORT: Village Manager presented information and asked the Board to review the information to begin consideration of the DDA Goals and Objectives.

Board Members – Discussed not holding the July 1, 2015 meeting. Board discussed changing the date.
DDA Staff – No additional comments
