Dear Speech Coaches,
We would like to extend an invitation to you to our Faith Christian Speech Meet on Friday, October 21st. The meet will be held at Faith Christian High School.
The meet will contain typical festival events, which involve both morning and afternoon competition. Solo Acting will be an event and not a monologue. This year we will provide Public Forum Debate.
Students may enter one morning event and one afternoon event. No doubling. Please register via www.speechmeets.com by Monday, October 17, 2011. Please stick to that deadline. We will need to have the names of students who are competing in these events no later than Wednesday, October 19. You can do all this through www.speechmeets.com . At this time there will not be a limit to the number of entries. However, we are a small school and we will adjust according to the number of schools entered. You will be notified if this changes.
We will also have a concession stand open for breakfast and lunch. We will also be providing breakfast items, juice, snacks and lunch for all coaches and judges.
Awards will be excellent and superior ribbons as well as medals for second and third place. We will also have trophies for Best of Event winners.
Registration is $8.00 per student and $16.00 per duet team. Please bring a check to our speech meet the morning you register. The check should be made out to FCA Speech Team. Visiting teams will not be refunded entry fees for drops made the morning of the meet.
