Candidate Statement
Please accept this letter to reaffirm my interest to serve on the Board of Directors for The National Certification Corporation (NCC). As a current certified practicing Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and NCC Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner Content Team member, I hold a sound appreciation of the vital role that NCC plays in promoting the positive health of women across the lifespan.
The sustained effort of the NCC as the national credentialing program for nurses, physicians and other licensed health care personnel in the areas of Women’s Health assures that practitioners are credentialed at the highest level for practice.
In recognizing this commitment to leadership, I again seek the opportunity to serve on the Board which would allow me to further contribute to the continued mission of the NCC.

Candidate Statement
As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner who has been very active in my professional nursing association and has an understanding of the need to identify reliable, active nursing representatives, I feel that I would be able to continue serve in this role well. I have a strong track record of serving on a variety of committees both at my institution as well as nursing organizations and completing work in a timely fashion.
If I am allowed to continue, I will make every effort to reach out to the members of NCC who would represent their nursing subspecialty well and to encourage younger members to begin to take on a leadership role as part of their professional growth. I also believe that I can look at applications objectively and make recommendations based on what the board and directors identify as needing to best serve others.
I look forward to having the opportunity to become more involved in NCC in a variety of ways
