Quality Payment Scheme support – document 7
NHS 111 Directory of Services
This criterion requires that on the day of the review, the pharmacy’s NHS 111 Directory of Services entry is up to date.
It is essential that the directory is accurate to allow NHS 111 call handlers to provide appropriate and accurate information to callers about the pharmacy’s services, facilities and opening hours.
There are four different Directory of Services (DoS) profiles.
a)Pharmacist
b)Pharmacist – extended hours
c)Pharmacist – enhanced services
d)Pharmacist – urgent prescription.
All pharmacies will have either an a) or b) profile, dependent upon the opening hours, core and supplementary, of the pharmacy. Pharmacies providing additional services will have a profile c) and those offering the NUMSAS in profile d).
All profiles for the pharmacy must be accurate and validated to qualify for the Quality Payment Scheme.
