Notes; Hugh Quinlan mentioned above married into the Carter family and this may be the Carter land that was mentioned in the deed in 1799 where the land belonged to Robert Carter Esq.
Frances G. Lamkin is the sister of Robert M. Lamkin, children of Ashton Lamkin and Hannah Middleton (G. for Garland and M. for Middleton ) Hannah is the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Rogers Crabb Middleton.
Lee Pittman was married to Lotty (Charlotty) Garner the sister of George Garner married to Anne Middleton (dau of Capt. Benedict)
Brother of George Garner who married Ann Middleton
Benjamin had son Willis b. 1775. He first married Magdalene Crabb and 2) Frances Garland Lamkin. George Garner and Ann had no children. Willis the nephew received an inheritance from his Uncle George.
This sounds like the same land that was sold to Samuel Beale Jr. but Jno. Middleton is no longer mentioned as being an adj. land owner. These documents I am sending all seem to run together being the names or similar and they are part of the same families we first saw on the land document that Benedict Rust sold to Samuel Beale Jr. (who married Judah? Judith Middleton).
