COMMUNITY BOOK Club: Monday, March 27at 7 PM in Marian Hall on the book “Everything We Keep”.
THERE WILL BE AN EASTER EGG HUNT!! Therefore, we are asking for donations of Easter Candy for the upcoming Egg Hunt. Candy must be store bought, wrapped and fit inside an Easter Egg. Your support & generosity are greatly appreciated. Collection Basket is in the gathering space of each church.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Wednesdays at IC at 7 PM and Fridays at SJ at 7 PM.
EASTER FLOWERS AT SJ & IC: Anyone wishing to donate towards Easter Flowers can use the special Easter
Flower Offering envelope that is in your pack. Place your intention/s on the envelope along with your name and donation.
SJ & IC: Special Collection this weekend is for the work of Catholic Relief Services. Please be as generous as you can.
SJ & IC 11th GRADE CONFIRMATION CLASS - St. John's & IC's service project for 11th graders is to clean their churches. It will be for Immaculate Conception on Saturday, April 1stat 9 AM. St. John’s will be Saturday, April 8th at 9 AM (due to the new rug/tile being done the week of April 3). Please be on time & bring a bucket/scrub rags. If you cannot make it, call for a make-up. Rite of Sending for IC & SJ will be on Sunday, April 2nd. IC Candidates & Sponsors will meet in Marian hall at 8:45 AM and attend the 9 AM Mass. SJ Candidates & Sponsors will meet in the church social hall at 9:45 AM and attend the 10 AM Mass. Please dress appropriately, your group photo will be taken after Mass. After pictures are taken, you will then attend your CCD class.
CHRISM MASS is celebrated on Monday of Holy Week, April 10th at 11 AM at the Altoona Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Each parish will need two (2) representatives to receive the Holy Oils. If anyone is interested call Pam.
FISH DINNER: The IC Rosary Altar Soc. sponsors ourLenten Fish Fry Buffet every Friday during Lent at the Grove Hall from 4 to 7 PM. Cost of the Dinner: $10 Adults; $5 children; 3 years old & under no charge. Take outs are available until 6 PM; please call 495-4298. Help is most definitely needed to make this event a success. Call Evie at
495-4854 if you can help in any way. Working here is a good way for CCD students to get service hours.
FOREST HILL MINISTERIUM will once again hold their Sunday Lenten Services during Lent. All services start at
7 PM with refreshments served after the service. The following is the schedule: Today,March 26th - at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Summerhill with Fr. Stephen Honeygosky from St. Vincent as the guest speaker; April 2nd at Mt Hope UMC; April 9th at Wesley UMC, South Fork.

AYSO 703-EBENSBURG SOCCER will have registration for the fall 2017 season on Thursday, March 30th from
5:30 -8 PM at Central Cambria HS Library. You must preregister and pay at: Players born in 2002-2013 are eligible, and birth certificates are required for all new players.
SJ & IC: Holy Week and the Holy Triduum is quickly descending upon us: Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday, April 9, and the Holy Triduum is celebrated on Holy Thursday, April 13, Good Friday, April 14, and Holy Saturday Vigil, April 15. Easter Sunday, of course, is April 16. Please plan now to attend each and every service with your family.
SJ: PJ Stevens Carpet One personnel will begin to install the new carpet and new vinyl tiles in Saint John Church on Monday, April 3rd. While the workmen are installing the new flooring, all daily masses, Monday through Friday, will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, New Germany. All daily communicants are encouraged to attend mass at our sister parish.
