Child Wellbeing and Safety Regulations 2007
1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe the form of notice of birth under section 43(2) of the Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005.
2Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 47 of the Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005.
3Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 1October 2007.
4Early notification of births
The prescribed form of notice under section 43(2) of the Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005 is the form set out in the Schedule.

1.General Information
The Child Wellbeing and Safety Regulations 2007, S.R.No.102/2007 were made on 25 September 2007 by the Governor in Council under section 47 of theChild Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005, No.83/2005 and came into operation on 1 October 2007: regulation 3.
Endnotes
The Child Wellbeing and Safety Regulations 2007 will sunset 10 years after the day of making on 25September 2017 (see section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994).
