Additional information regarding the equivalence Foreign Language Exams (OSYM ANNOUNCEMENT)
In the sixth paragraph of Article 7 of Assessment, Selection and Placement Centre of the Law on the Organization and Duties, which dated 3 March 2011 and published 27863 Official Gazette with 6114 No,; "Made at different times by the President or by the equivalence of the level test, the validity of test results for each of the exams and exams made by Presidency equivalence with international foreign language exam, based on the experts reports about, is determined by the decision of the Board of Directors. According to this rule; Report of "Foreign Language Exams Equivalence Study Group" which organized by our center and this report analyzes the underlying "Equivalence of Foreign Language Exams" rearranged and 23 July 2013 Centre for Foreign Language Exams dated equivalency has been announced on the official website. It was decided to be based; 24 April 2013 dated “Equivalence of Foreign Language Exams” statements for foreign language documents taken before 23 July 2013
In accordance with temporary article 1 and paragraph 4 of Istanbul University Graduate Education and Training Regulation which dated 24/07/2012, numbered 28363 and published in Official Gazette; profociency in arts exam and according to senate decision; university language exam which will be held after regulations comes into force are valids for two years.
