Celebrate Election Day by exploring how feminist issues are addressed by artists in Women’s Work: Feminist Art from the Collection. Participate in conversations with curators and museum educators modeling age-appropriate strategies for engaging high school students with contemporary art. Resource materials to support in-gallery and classroom learning will be provided, as well as information on SCMA’s school visit programs with subsidized bus transportation opportunities. Workshop fees include coffee/tea in the morning and lunch. $20 for members; $30 non-members. Cross-curricular teacher teams (art + history + language arts) interested in developing interdisciplinary units of study together will receive a discount on registration fees.
