2008 United Way Campaign

When completing your 2008 United Way Campaign contributions on-line you are given the option to designate an agency via a “write-in” if your preferred agency is not listed. To qualify you may “write in” an agency by clicking on “Provide agency information.” To be eligible, a write-in agency must be a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency providing health and human services within a 100 mile radius of the Kansas City area. This can be a great way to direct your United Way contributions to an organization we all are familiar with and KNOW the good work that it performs. Please consider designating all or part of your pledge via the write-in option to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Holy Trinity (Lenexa), 9150 Pflumm Road, Lenexa, KS, 66215. Contact person: John Smith. Contact Phone: 913-888-2770 (parish office.) Thank you for your consideration.

Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll Campaign for the Intellectually Disabled

The annual collection was held on two weekends in October, the 10th, 11th, and 12th and the 17th, 18th, and 19th. This year the total collected after expenses was $4,250. This was an increase of $250 over last year, an amazing accomplishment in the recent economic environment. A special thanks to the approximately 60 Knights that helped in this year’s event. Thanks to Brother Kim Bienoff for his time, effort, and leadership in this worthwhile event.
