Important Information:
§ ALL projects competing in the FCS Regional Fair MUST have advanced through a school fair. Contact Donna Barrett-Williams if you are not sure where you should compete.
§ How Many Science Fair Projects per School?
o Private schools may submit 2 projects per school
§ Projects with Humans, Vertebrate Animals, Pathogens, Controlled and Hazardous Substances and Devices
o Pre-Approval forms for projects involving humans, vertebrate animals, pathogens, or controlled and hazardous substances and devices (and any other project requiring pre-approval) should always be completed and approved before experimentation. School level fair SRC/IRB Committees must complete this task BEFORE experimentation begins.
o Any projects requiring pre-approval that were not pre-approved prior to the start of experimentation may not compete in Fulton County Regional Science Fair.
o Check ISEF guidelines regarding the need for pre-approval at website www.societyforscience.org/isef/document or at the state GSEF website www.georgiacenter.uga.edu/gsef
§ Registration Packets for Advancing Projects:
o The originals of all required ISEF forms must accompany the project on display. Student keeps originals of ISEF forms.
o Registration packets should include copies – not originals of all required forms in addition to the Fulton County Regional Science Fair registration form. Students should keep their ISEF originals.
o The following forms are required for all projects:
