Call for application for one scholarship addressedto talented students enrolled in Resource Economics and Sustainable Development, University of Bologna, Rimini Campus

The Italian language version of the act is prevailing with regard to the exact interpretation of the rules contained within, also in case of potential disputes.

ART. 1 – Subject

The School of Economics, Management and Statistics, has established1 scholarshipfor the amount of € 1,000,00 (before tax)in order to support students enrolled in theInternationalSecond Cycle Degree Programme Resource Economics and Sustainable Development (RESD).Such benefits are addressed to RESD students enrolledin thestudy programme and based on merit.

ART. 2 – Admission Requirements

The benefit will be granted in line with the terms and procedures laid down herewith. The application is open exclusively to candidatesenrolledin the second year of RESD in a.y. 2016/17.

Acknowledged exams by the Degree programmewill be considered.

ART. 3 Application procedure

Applicants shall submit the attached application form (Annex A), available on the web site to the following address:

Applications received beyond this term, and applications received by other methods, shall not be considered. Applicants must attach the following documents:

Copy of the ID;

Transcript of records (self-certification – to be downloaded online services);

ART. 4 Selection criteria

The selection will bemerit based, depending on number of credits acquired and grades obtained. Each student is awarded a score calculated as follows:

where ECTexam_1 and ECTexam_N is the first and last exam passed by the candidate, respectively.

The grade exam 30 e lode will value 33 points.

Seminars will not be considered for the structure of the general score.

Students are invited to double-check that all passed exams have been properly recorded and toimmediately notify, if this procedure hasn’t been duly fulfilled.

ART. 5- Assignment

A list of qualified applicants will be drawn up by the Committee nominated by the School of Economics, Management and Statistics, and will be available on the web page of the degree program

In the event of equal points, the benefit will be granted to the youngest applicant.

The benefit will be paid in a single installment after submitting annex C.

ART. 6 – Acceptance or withdrawal

Selected candidates need to confirm acceptance of the grant within 10 days from official notification, sending Annex Bduly signed, or the assignment shall be invalid.

Art. 7 – Information notice concerning data processing

The personal data provided shall be processed in compliance with the principles and provisions of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 (Data Protection Act) and in any case exclusively for the purposes of this call for applications. The data will be processed using electronic and manual (paper) methods. The Data Controller is the School of Economics, Management and Statistics. The Data Processor for the purpose of exercising your rights under article 7 is the President of the School of Economics, Management and Statistics.

The Administration reserves the right to verify the truth of the information provided. Without prejudice to the penal sanctions laid down in article 76 of Italian Decree of the President of the Republic no. 445/2000, in the event of fraudulent information being discovered as a result of such verification, the applicant will forfeit the right to the benefit.
