Lassiter Girl’s Lacrosse Rules and Regulations 2016 PLAYER Contract

  • All players must maintain at least a2.5 GPA to remain eligible to play.
  • Any player who receives ISS/OSS will be suspended from play (length determined by coach and administration). Students may not participate in extra-curricular activities during the time of suspension.
  • If cuts are possible, they will be made.
  • Players must attend all games and practices unless there is an emergency.
  • If you are missing practice or a game, you must let us know within 48 hours in advance in writing via text, email or note, otherwise, it will not be excused.
  • Players will run for missing or being late to practice (even excused). This also includes spending too much time in the training room. (IDK if you want to add that)
  • Players who skip practice without notice will sit out the first half of the next game and risk the chance of suspension from the team.
  • Players will sit out the next game if a game is missed.
  • You may put your belongings in the coaching office until the basketball locker rooms are available for use. You must bring your stuff to my office prior to the bell ringing. You are the only one who is responsible for your things. No exceptions.
  • All players must ride the bus to and from events.
  • Players should only contact a coach in-person or by email during the regular school day.
  • Players should only contact the coaches by telephone when there is an emergency.
  • 24 Hour Policy - Wait 24 hours after an issue before you discuss it with a parent/teammate
  • Remember playing time will never be discussed with coaches, but my door will always be open to players who want to discuss how they can help us become a better program or become a better player.
  • Parents should only contact the coaches through email unless there is an emergency. ALL ISSUES should be directed to the head coach. The head coach MUST be copied on any email that is sent to an assistant coach, including the JV coach.
  • Players will always be respectful to teammates, coaches from this school as well as others, parents, and game officials. Any sign of disrespect may result in a lack of playing time, disciplinary contract, and suspension from the team.
  • Players will participate in all team functions (including team dinners) unless pre-arranged in writing to coaches.
  • 48 Hour Rule: You must be home before 10pm the night before games. NO CONCERTS the night before a game and no social events.
  • Any player who becomes involved with cigarettes, alcohol, and/or drugs will adhere to the Cobb County Code of Conduct and risk being kicked off the team.
  • Players should always adhere to the Cobb County Code of Conduct, which is attached.
  • Coaches may add to or change these rules at any time.
