Status report dissemination of data on active substances
Date:12 May 2016 / Agenda point: 7.1

Following the approval of an active substance ECHA has to disseminate the Assessment Report and the information according to Article 67 on its website. After the adoption of the BPC opinion the evaluating Competent Authority has to submit the relevant non-confidential documents to ECHA. The Assessment Report is disseminated directly after the adoption of the BPC opinion while the information according to Article 67 on intrinsic properties is disseminated after the adoption of the Commission implementing regulation approving the active substance. For non-approval decisions only the Assessment Report will be disseminated as informed at the last CA meeting.

At the last BPC the members were informed by ECHA about the status of all active substance product type combinations for which an opinion was adopted. In the annex to this document (entitled “Dissemination status of active substances for which a BPC opinion is adopted”) an update of this overview is presented. With respect to the non-confidential Assessment Report almost all reports have been disseminated. However, for the dissemination of the non-confidential Document IIIA (via which the information according to Article 67 is disseminated in the absence of a IUCLID file) the situation is different: for almost all active substance product-type combinations this document still needs to be submitted.

Via this annex ECHA would like to inform the CA meeting of the status of the dissemination of data on active substances. MSCAs are invited to consider the annex and submit the non-confidential Document IIIA for those active substance product type combinations for which they are the evaluating Competent Authority without undue delay.
