As this school year comes to a close, we hope you and your child are looking back with a feeling of accomplishment and looking forward to the rest and relaxation of summer.
Support, Inc. is excited to announce that we have contracted with Catawba County Schools to provide School Based Therapy in your child’s school at the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year! Our agency has been serving Gaston / Lincoln / Cleveland counties for the past fifteen years and we are now expanding our full service array to Catawba County over the next few months. We understand the multitude of issues students and families face at home and at school in dealing with increasingly difficult grade level expectations, difficult peer relationships, dealing with the loss or absence of a parent, adjusting to a traumatic event, or just the stress of growing up in today’s world. We are here to help.
If your child needs help meeting expectations in life – at home or at school – Support, Inc. can now provide therapy services for your child at school. Without ever having to leave the school campus, your child can work confidentially with an individual therapist on issues impacting their school or home lives. Our therapists are successful at blending in with school staff to protect your child’s privacy and prevent anyone from knowing your child is even seeing a therapist.
In addition, if your child has previously received school based therapy services from another provider, we can transfer your services to Support, Inc. this summer.

Having Support in place and ready to go at the beginning of a stressful new school year could benefit your child greatly.
