5.  Western –Report from today’s MAS was provided. This was the first time the MAS was conducted with only a one day session and it was well received. Met the goal of 75 attendees with a combination of AARC members and students. Approximately 30% of attendees were students which means and overall drop in registration funds. Projected $200 loss for the meeting. 2015 MAS will be planned with one day format.

New Business:

1.VSRC Budget 2015 was reviewed by Jim Shuke. District Directors have the option to request additional funds in writing to the President. Budget was approved. Motion 10/9/2014-02 Passed

2. Recognition of Charles Durbin, MD, FAARC, as AARC’s Jimmy A. Young Award Recipient for 2014.

3.James P Baker award- Award was presented to Richard Stairhime

4.2014 VSRC Education and Credentials Survey results were shared in the packet, as well as at the meeting.

5.2015 VSRC Committee Assignments and District Planning-will start very soon.

6.Branding for VSRC-Judy Seal shared ideas for branding as part of Marketing and Public Relations Committee. It was agreed that proposals be shared at the January 2015 BOD meeting.
