- All players must have a Central Gauteng tracksuit top. Clothing contact person is Lezel de Vries (082 780 0396 or ). Those that were unable to order tracksuits in time may be able to borrow CGJ tracksuit tops from Lezel or your coach. If one cannot be borrowed players may attend opening ceremony in white judo gi only. Please wear tracksuit top at all times during the championships to identify CGJ players.
- All players must have a white Judo Gi – only seniors may have both a blue and white gi. The gi may not be too small or too big as will lead to disqualification.
- Central Gauteng shoulder flashes and badge must be sewn securely on to your judo gi (if you don’t have access to a strong sewing machine, get a tailor to do it – hand sewing is usually not strong enough and loose bits on the gi can result in disqualification). National flashes may not be worn to SA’s but national badge and flag may be worn with CGJ flashes. The shoulder flash is sewn on from the outside of the collar strip to approximately halfway down the upper arm (+-15cm). The badge is sewn on to the left front bottom of the jacket, next to your club badge (if you have one). If you have a Central Gauteng Provincial Colours badge (with the gold laurel wreath), do not sew the smaller CG badge on as well (i.e. only 1 CG badge per gi). Only one set of flashes may be worn – 2 sets may not be worn side by side.
